I work with clients to agree a scope that maximises value within the time and budget available. My goal is to transfer the learnings and experience to clients efficiently and effectively, ensuring value is added rapidly. I will work with your team in a collaborative and constructive manner, whilst maintaining independence, objectivity and ‘telling it as it is’.

PMO Design
Is your PMO set up for success? Are the processes and systems used to manage the programme optimal and adequately resourced? Are reports accurate and meaningful? Is the PMO team supporting senior management and sponsors effectively?
I will meet your stakeholders and team to undertake a review of existing processes, structure, systems and reports design. Using my experience of best practice I will recommend specific, achievable design improvements, tailored to your environment. I can also support your team with implementation.
Programme
Audit
Does your Audit function require additional programme management capacity and expertise? Does your Audit team have sufficient, practical knowledge of Programme Management risks and controls?
I have several years experience of auditing major programmes. Having been both 'gamekeeper' and 'poacher', I have a broad perspective on programme risks and associated controls. Combined with a strong understanding of the audit process, I can supplement and help develop your existing Audit team.
Risk Review
How complete and accurate is your risk register? Is the risk profile of your programme reducing? Are the existing controls and additional actions needed effective? Are actions being implemented?
I will review the design and operation of risk management. Work includes assessing the completeness of the risk register, and checking the effectiveness of controls. The status of additional actions needed to reduce risks will be assessed through interviews with key team members and review of documentation.
Programme
Governance Review
Is the Governance of your Programme operating effectively, providing appropriate oversight and direction to the team? Are roles and responsibilities clear? Is reporting meaningful and accurate?
I will review the design of existing programme governance arrangements, interviewing key stakeholders and reviewing existing documentation such as committee terms of reference and status reports. Deliverables will be customised to your needs.
Readiness Support
Are clear criteria for your project's 'go live' decision defined? Are you confident the evidence supports a 'go' decision? What are the risks of a failed implementation and are the measures in place to prevent or mitigate?
I will review the design and implementation of your readiness assessment framework. I have significant experience of managing this process and advising/assessing client's arrangements. Opportunities to improve the process include the quality/completeness of the assessment criteria, the evidence supporting the assessment, and the final decision making process.
Delivery Support
Does your team need a boost from an experienced, independent professional? Is there a specific problem area which requires support? For example, how complete are the programme plans and dependency register? Are they integrated? Is progress on schedule?
I will help coach, develop and/or supplement your team in a broad range of activities such as business/benefits cases, programme planning, process design, dependency management, problem solving, stakeholder and communications planning.
